Petrol Station POP

Equatorial
provides innovative connectivity and business systems suited to
areas with minimal infrastructure. Equatorial's Petrol Station POP
is one example. In many countries petrol stations have assured
electricity supply from generators and are staffed 24 hours a day.
By using Equatorial’s equipment and systems, the petrol station
becomes an on-line point-of-presence, permitting the operator to
provide the following services:
Automated
Refueling Network
This is a
nationwide network for ensuring petrol supply to only those vehicles
fitted with a wireless sensor and a sensor on the petrol pump. The
data is conveyed, on and offline, to a central database which
enables operations, central billing and management. It also ties the
car fleet operator to a single chain of petrol stations. The fleet
operator reduces petrol theft and centralizes petrol expenditure.
The petrol station operator has a captive market of users.
Equatorial
provides the data network, by VSAT and/or by wireless.
Cyber
Café at the Petrol Station
Using the
same data network, Internet services can be offered at the petrol
station.

Call Shop
at the Petrol Station
The data network
will also support VoIP voice services. Equatorial’s ip4phone
voice origination services provide a state-of-the-art, cost
effective platform for originating international calls world wide.
ip4phone
services include: - Call shop management solutions. - Prepaid
calling cards. - Post paid accounts.
All of ip4phone's
voice origination solutions are offered with a "private label
option"; that is, you may offer ip4phone's to your own customers under
your own brand name!
ISP at
the Petrol Station via WiMAX Wireless Networking
The petrol
station can sell Internet service to the surrounding community via
wireless networking.
Equatorial
supplies and integrates WiMAX systems from leading manufacturers to
enable low cost wireless connectivity of remote users who can share
the petrol station’s satellite connection.
VoIP
services may also be offered to the community over the wireless
network.
